Project Pony

For those of you who did not know, I have always had a passion for cars. My first car I ever had was a 1989 Ford Mustang GT. My dad bought me the car when I was 15 and I dumped nearly every penny I made throughout high school back into it. It was my "baby", until I wrecked it my freshman year of college. The car was totalled, but I bought the wreck back. It sat in the garage for a couple of years as I dreamed of future plans for it. Of course, future plans involved money a college student doesn't have, and eventually I had to part ways with it. Fast forward 9 years....... Lindsay has listened to to me talk about mustangs for so long, and she was well aware that one day I would own another. It just so happened that the right one came along for the right price............and now I can say that I am once again a mustang owner.

It is a 1990 Ford Mustang LX. I bought it from a baptist preacher that drove it in from Shreveport, LA. Finding out that I could own a "holy" mustang was really the deal closer. I met him on his way in to Deer Park and bought the car from him before he made it home (don't worry I gave him a ride home). I will be trailering the car up to Dallas within the next couple of months to have all new interior done, some body work and a paint job. There are a few things I need to get done on the car before it goes to Dallas, and unfortunately my surgery has set me back a couple of months.

I will continue to post pictures as I make progress.

Sweet ride man...we'll have to race when you get it all fixed up. I don't know if she'll be able to hang with the '98 accord.
