Here he is giving a little speech about his time there.
Here is my mom laughing at one of the stories one of my dad's buddies was sharing about him.
Jeff's parents also joined us and we caught Jeff's dad trying to kiss the lady on the tall pole - only something a 6'7" person could even attempt! Jeff's dad is also celebrating his 40 year anniversary with SBC/AT&T!
Cake adventure - My boss' daughter Regan turned 3 this month. She asked me to make her birthday cake... I thought it might be some type of princess party, but her request was for a Little Einstein Red Rocket cake. I was a little nervous before I attempted this cake, but I am pretty pleased with how well it turned out! Tricia' dad even came up and said to me "A pretty cake and it even tasted great!" - so all in all, I think it was a success!
Here is the birthday girl jumping away - isn't she a doll!
The birthday girl blowing out her candle! She loved that I made it half chocolate half vanilla - because she is a girl after my own heart and requested chocolate when the lady tried to give her the vanilla cake!
This month, Natalie's family made a trip across the pond to "thaw out their bones" while their kids were on a term break. Her sister's family and her parents came in town. It was so nice to see them all again and of course, Jeff and I just loved the boys.
They came over and swam a few times at my parents house and Maya Moo just loved chasing them around and trying to "eat" the water! She is such a mess - she turned one this month! I have a picture of her playing with the boys, but I'll have to add it later. Happy Birthday Maya!
We all able to make a trip up to the lake house with the England crew and I took the boys out for a spin on the jet ski's. The youngest (Tom) sat in front of me and yelled "faster, faster" while his oldest brother (Lewis)sat behind me and yelled "slow down" - it was a "brilliant" time! As we made our way to shore, Matthew saw a tail splash and ran to pull on a string attached to the bulk head. There were two huge carps attached... They were so proud of the fish they found out the trout line - Matthew, Lewis, and Tom.
Here is Tom - the little jumping bean - perfect form in the air!
All three brothers together!
Jeff and I have decided that when we have kids and they begin to talk, that we want them to go live in England and learn their manners and develop an accent there! It was so much fun talking to them and hearing their stories.
Well, that about sums up May. Hopefully we will remember to post more in June!
