Weekend Events

This weekend Lauren and I went to look for bridesmaid dresses. We actually found one that we liked and that looked super hot on her. However, I looked at what colors it is available in when I got home and I was not a huge fan... so we might have to go back to see what else we can find. I also found a cute flower girl dress. I may need to see if I can get one of my little princesses to try on! On Sunday night Jeff, my mom, Natalie, and I went to Buca di Beppo to eat so we could check out a place we were considering for our rehearsal dinner. I was the only one who had not eaten there, so I was ready to see what all the talk was about. When we arrived we took the grand tour of the place and learned about the history. The place was not crowded at all, but everything that could go wrong, did go wrong! To start, I wanted to make sure we ordered things we would have on the rehearsal menu, so I asked the waiter if I could look at one of the banquet lists. He promised to have someone come talk to us, but she didn't come by until we asked for her twice... and then she didn't even come back with the answers to our questions. As for the food... even the spaghetti was bad (not sure how spaghetti and meatballs can be flavorless at an Italian place!) and they served each of our meals one at a time! Needless to say, I am glad we checked it out before we thought any more about booking it... The only positive thing I can say is they have great chocolate cake! I hope the next place we check out (and tell multiple times that we want to plan a dinner there) will go over the top to treat us like royalty!
