With me ~ to Paradise! Over spring break (Krystle's break that is), we jumped on a plane and flew 2.5 hours to Roatan, Honduras for a fantastic vacation! Here we are in our condo - not a bad picture for a self timer.
The boys couldn't wait to jump in the water ~ isn't is amazing?!
We took a stroll down the beach and found some great drink specials - not a bad way to start the trip.
Salva Vida or as Tyrrell likes to call is "salsa vida" - said with a Texas twang - was the cold beer of choice.
We started our 2nd day off with zip lining through the jungle...
And Krystle and I decided to be brave and "do a trick" ~ totally crazy feeling!

Our guide saw this little guy while on the tree tops as we were mid-line... I have no idea how he could see him as fast as you move on those things.
Check out that view ~ it looked like we were going to fly straight into the ocean.
I told Jeff it was like we were on the Bachelor ~ thank goodness I had already received the final rose!
On our third day we took a little trip to Cayo Cochinos - about 18 miles from Roatan, and 12 miles from mainland Honduras. Here is the check-in station for the islands.

This is where they are filming Italian Survivor or "L'Isola dei Famosi" ~ if you look closely, you can just see 2 people standing on the shore!
Next up, we stopped at this little island to snorkel... just breathtaking!
Then we headed over to where the 150 native indians live for lunch. Can you imagine living here??
Living off their daily catch - it was actually very yummy!

Stunning!! It is like a bachelor date! Did you ride in a helicopter, too? LOL!
What an awesome trip, Lindsay! I've been to Roatan; my ship pulled in there when I was deployed in 2008!
