Where in the World have we been?!

So, we haven't posted in a while, but we have been busy! We have been traveling some, going to the lake and who knows what else.

In May we headed to Denver to attend my company's Founder's Dinner. Every year Newfield celebrates it's roots by hosting a Founder's Dinner. In the past it has always been at our corporate office in Houston, but they decided to rotate it to our other locations last year. So, last year it was in Tulsa, this year it was in Denver, and next year it will return to Houston.

We have monthly employee meetings and usually have some type of giveaway. Given the up coming event, the group decided to give away trips to the dinner in Denver! I was really lucky that day and won one of the trips for Jeff and I!

Unfortunately, I forgot to bring my camera to the dinner, so I don't have any picture of the night, but we had a lot of fun. It was really nice to listen to the presentation and hear about the history of my company. I left feeling very proud to work at Newfield.

We did take advantage of the trip and stay the weekend. The only pictures I took were from our trip out to Red Rocks Amphitheater. It was really beautiful.

It was a different world to go to Denver in the summer time, but still beautiful!
