Emilie's Kitchen Shower

Last weekend my mom and I hosted a kitchen shower for Emilie - the bride to be! Our family and some of Emilie's Houston friends joined us for the party.

Here is a close up of our champagne holder - my mom and I saw this at a baby shower, so we had to create one for Emilie's shower. The ice has all kinds of little kitchen gadgets, magnets, hearts and ribbon frozen in all the levels... it was a major hit! Good job mom!Here is another one of my mom's creations - the "Lady" in her bridal best - white roses and a veil!We had a delectable spread of food! And, of course, you can't go to a shower without playing some type of game - Since most of the guests knew the groom (and I had access to all kinds of photos), I decided to have them "Guess the Groom's age"! This was a game I picked up from a friends shower (thanks Britt!) and I think everyone had fun guessing!

Here are all but 2 of the bridesmaids - Stephanie, me, Christine, The Bride, Ashlee, and her sister Christina. The other two are her sisters one who lives out of state and one who lives in Germany!
