Ski Trip!

So, we had a wonderful trip to Crested Butte, CO! Jeff and I came back with only a little sun/wind burn, but unfortunately that can't be said for Justin and Ruth Ann. On our second day on the slopes Ruth Ann took a little tumble and tore her ACL... Injuries aside, super fun ski trip with great weather and even a little snow day!

Justin and Ruth Ann downtown on Elk Street.So, I avoided any activity that might increase the odds of me falling (I only fell twice - 1st day just put on the skis for the first time in 3 years heading over to the lift and once to avoid a pole by the lift - huge success in my book!) However, Jeff and Justin took every chance they could on the jumps - no injuries or major wipe outs to report, but a little wobbly on the first jump! I hope you get a laugh like I did!

So on our last night, Jeff and I decided to check out the local bars... I picked "Princess Wine Bar" for obvious reasons lol. There we found a local playing guitar and singing - which was perfect for Jeff! The locals were so nice and tried to talk us into moving there - even though they said the town basically shuts down for a couple months... They had some good points, but we agreed H-town is our home! Here we are before heading out to dinner and the bar...And here is Jeff as we are waiting for the condo shuttle - we had a driver to take us everywhere, which totally paid off this night, if you can't tell from his face below! We had a great time with Justin and Ruth Ann ~ Thanks guys!
