BIG NEWS...

So, this weekend was a very special one for the Diehl family... For about 3 months now, Ryan has been planning to propose to his girlfriend Emilie. He asked her parents back in January, then with a little help he had a ring made, worked on the perfect proposal, and then all he had to do was wait! He proposed this weekend out at the lake house on the bluff and then they drove back to my parents house for a surprise engagement party! Ryan invited Emilie's family to join us as we celebrated their wonderful news! She was so excited when she came into the room and saw her family that she couldn't help but jump up and down! It was so great to watch... Here is the crew below - Dad, mom, Christina (her youngest sister and MOH), Emilie, Ryno, Katherine (her second oldest sister and bridesmaid), her mom, and her dad... just missing her oldest sister Mary who lives in Germany! Now the WHOLE group... Emilie opening up her pressies... I think she was pumped about her wedding planning book!

Jeff and Ryan loved one of the other gifts I got Emilie - a wedding magazine! Glad you love wedding planning guys!

I have never seen sisters who love each other more! So sweet!

We are so happy Emilie "said yes" to Ryan - she is such a love and fits right into our "crazy" family! I know they are so in love and can't wait to share this special time with them!
