Sorry for the loooooong delay, but here are some of our honeymoon pictures!

With our parents before we head to the airport.

Lauren and the Henley's came down to see us off too!

On the plane, the flight attendant asked if we were newly weds... when we told her "Yes we are, we just got married last night!" She was so excited and went to bring us 2 bottels of champange for a toast!

Our first night at the resort!

The second day we went to this little beach park and it was beautiful! Jeff is actually facing an island (you can't see it here) that you could walk across the water to. We made it about a quarter of the way, but had to turn around because we didn't have the right shoes on! Those waves are so strong!

We made a visit to Pearl Harbor as well. Here is Jeff outside of the USS Missouri.

For our cultural event, we toured the Polynesian Culture Center. We saw demonstrations of many Hawaiian traditions and this guy climb to the top of a palm tree!

The whole trip I wanted one of these purple leis! Luckily everyone who attended the luau received one!

The luau ceremony...

We also took a movie tour at the Kauloa Ranch. They have done so many movies here. Above is the famous Jurassic Park scene where they hide behind the tree while there is a dinosaur stampede! Other movies filmed here were Godzilla, Pearl Harbor, 50 First Dates, and Mighty Joe Young to name a few.

Here is a picture of an island that looks like a turtle. The story behind this is that the turtle used to always hang around and mess up a fisherman's fishing. So the man threw a piece of food out in the ocean for the turtle to eat and now the turtle is forever searching for that food!

This is one of the beautiful sunsets we saw from our resort. There were surfers here at the North Shore almost every evening, except when the wind was really strong! Very cool to watch - no need to try it ourselves!

A view at one of the shrimp shops!

Look at the beautiful view at our resort!

Our last day came way too fast. We had a blast and saw many beautiful things. We would totally recommend taking a trip there and hope to make it back for an anniversary one day! Aloha!
